Hard to believe this will be our 6th Holiday Season in Havana Passing out Goodies during the Holiday Season. This year we are planning on tossing out 2,000 Stuffed animals and 2,000 Pairs of Bombas socks during the Christmas Parade!

Getting really excited for our Fall Formal for individuals with Disabilities. So many great surprises in store!

Come and dance the night away in our "Evening in Paris" Theme. Open to all individuals with disabilities and Senior citizens.

Some great things coming up in the next few months. This month is our Christmas in July event. and in September is our "Havana Fall Formal" for over 150 individuals with disabilities to dance the night away. Participants will be escorted down main street by local law enforcement officers to our Red Carpet Entrance to the Havana Park District Gym. FYI, Our Monthly Box Truck Food Pick up is the second Thursday of each month in 2021 instead of Tuesday.

Been working on plans for the COVID-19 Round Two soon to be announced. Here is what we know and what we will be doing for the remaining of the 2020 year and the 2020 - 2021 School year. Since "Illinois Ability Sports" is an Illinois Essential 501c3 Charity we will still be preparing 210 Weekend Food Backs Packs each week to be delivered to Rural area students in the Mason County area by our friends and volunteers. We will still be having our Mobile Food Pantry Food Distribution in Havana on November 24 at 4:00 pm but there will not be one at all in December. We are currently in negotiations with the USDA and area Food Banks to be able to pick up 200 Gallons of milk and 200 USDA "Farm to Family Food Boxes. Once confirmed we will be passing out these USDA Items twice a Month in Lewistown and twice a month in Havana to help serve Fulton and Mason County folks as best as we can during this second wave of the Pandemic. All of our Stuffed animals and Bombas Socks have been allocated to the surrounding communities to pass out to children in their areas following the CDC's recommendations. So many great things coming up very soon! First Amazon Give Away ever for Central Illinois is this Saturday. We will be providing 300 + Weekend Food Back Packs for area students in Manito, Goofy Ridge, Buzzville, Bath, and Kilbourne. Walmart Donation Give Aways every Saturday through October. Plus we have several Food Distributions scheduled each and every Month. We are looking for help to purchase our very own Box Truck for Donation Pickups.
