🐾✨ Dax came in for his annual visit and WOW… we still can’t believe what a stunning pup he has grown into! 😍🐶 From goofy puppy days to this handsome adventurer, he’s truly something special. 💙🌲
We’re so fortunate to keep Dax in the Cumberland family and watch him continue to thrive, make new friends, and spread nothing but good karma everywhere those paws go. 🐾☀️ Every visit with him feels like a little reminder that life is better with loyal companions, wagging tails, and endless adventures. 🏕️🚗💫
Here’s to belly rubs, happy trails, new friendships, and many more years of adventures ahead, sweet Dax! 🦴🐕💚✨

✨🐾 GOOD KARMA IS REAL 🐾✨
One of our recent adoptees, Katniss — now lovingly renamed Pepper 🌶️ — is absolutely THRIVING in her new home! She’s growing like a w**d 🌱, living the good life 🛋️☀️, and her new family completely adores her ❤️🐶

Pepper is one lucky girl, and honestly… we believe this was all meant to be. By pure chance, she caught the attention of Dr. Bowman through Gadsden County Animal Control, and the rest became a beautiful rescue story filled with love, second chances, and perfect timing ✨🙏

This sweet girl went from needing help to being spoiled rotten with cuddles, toys, and endless affection 🦴🎾💕 Rescue dogs truly have a way of finding exactly where they belong.

Good people. Good dogs. Good karma. 🐾💫

Stories like Pepper’s remind us that when we keep showing up for these animals, amazing things happen. Here’s to rescue, love, luck, and happily ever afters 🏡❤️🐕

We want to say THANK YOU to everyone who has donated so far to help get MERLIN to UGA next month! ❤️ Because of your generosity, we’ve already raised about $800 toward our $2,500 goal, and we are so grateful for every share, donation, prayer, and word of encouragement along the way.

We also wanted to share an update on Merlin’s treatment journey. Last week, we started a new treatment called PHOVIA — a fluorescent light therapy done weekly to help treat his skin. We’re still not exactly sure how effective it will be long term, but so far we are already noticing a decrease in inflammation, which gives us so much hope!

Many of you already know and love our tiny wizard, Merlin 💜✨ — our brave little miracle boy who has captured so many hearts. What some may not know is that Merlin lives every single day courageously battling a condition called lymphatic vascular malformation 🩺💔 — a disease for which there is currently NO cure.
Because of this, Merlin will remain part of the Good Karma Project family forever 🏡💫 so we can continue making sure his medical needs are fully met and that he gets the longest, happiest, most magical life possible. ✨🌙🐶

This sweet boy has already endured TWO incredibly serious surgeries 🏥⚡ and somehow bounced back stronger each time 💪🐾. Merlin truly is a miracle. In Feb 2025, specialists only gave him 6–8 months to live 😢… and now our little fighter is approaching his SECOND birthday (Aug) 🎂🥳🪄

Lately, however, Merlin has begun experiencing a recurrence of his disease 💔, and we’ve slowly had to reintroduce his daily medications 💊🩺. These medications alone cost approximately $300–$400 every single month 💸, in addition to his ongoing monthly visits to Capital Veterinary Specialists 🚗🏥🐾.

Because of the recurrence, we have decided to take Merlin back to UGA on June 29th 🗓️🏫 in hopes they can repeat his lymphangiogram 🩻✨ — a specialized procedure costing around $2,500 💰 — to help locate where the lymphatic drainage issues in his leg and abdomen are coming from 🐾💔.

And now we humbly ask our amazing Good Karma family for help once again 🙏💫💜
🎯 Our goal is to raise $2,500–$3,000 for Merlin’s upcoming UGA appointment, with any additional donations helping cover his monthly medications, treatments, and specialist visits 🐶💊🏥✨.

🩷🐾 SECOND CHANCE UPDATE 🐾🩷
These three tiny babies are alive today because rescue stepped in when they needed it most. 💔 At just 5–6 weeks old and weighing less than 2 pounds, these kittens came to us in unimaginable pain from severe eye infections, likely caused by untreated bacterial or viral illness. 😢🐱 Without immediate medical intervention, they would not have survived.
But THESE GIRLS ARE FIGHTERS. 💪✨
Each kitten sadly had to undergo an enucleation (eye removal surgery) to save their life and finally free them from constant pain. The good news? 🙏💕 Their remaining eyes were able to be medically managed, giving them the chance to still have vision and live happy, playful, love-filled lives. 👁️🐾
Because of rescue… because people cared… because our community continues It's Meow Or Never , Inc.now know comfort, safety, full bellies, warm beds, and love. 🥹❤️
This is what rescue is all about — giving animals the second chance they never would have had otherwise. 🐈🏡✨
Now their next chapter begins… and soon these sweet girls will be searching for AMAZING forever homes where they’ll be protected, cherished, spoiled, and loved forever. 💞🐾

🐾❤️ FOUR WEEKS POST-OP UPDATE FOR BUSTER ❤️🐾
What a difference FOUR weeks can make! 🩺✨
Today, Buster had another recheck with Dr. Poppell of Red Hills Veterinary Surgeons, and we are incredibly thankful to share some WONDERFUL news… everything appears to be healing exactly as we hoped! 🙌🐶

Considering how severe Buster’s injury was, we truly could not have asked for a better outcome so far. We are beyond grateful for the incredible surgical team that stepped in to help this sweet boy through such a difficult case. 💙🐾

Buster has officially completed:
✔️ His pain medications
✔️ Doxycycline for his heartworm treatment
And through it ALL… this kid has not skipped a beat. 🥹❤️

Buster continues to amaze us every single day with his happy spirit, resilience, and determination. He truly is an inspiration.

A HUGE thank you goes out to his amazing foster family 👏🏡 who have done such a wonderful job keeping him comfortable, safe, and his bandages clean during recovery. As you can see from his latest bandage, Buster has also collected a few signatures from his fan club along the way! 🖊️🐾💕

This story is about more than just one dog. It’s about GOOD KARMA ✨

It’s about a community coming together for an animal in need.

It’s about people believing that even dogs sitting in a rural county animal control facility deserve a second chance. ❤️🐶

Buster’s journey is not over yet. Our current plan is to sedate him on the 9th of june for removal of the screw placed in his calcaneus. After that procedure, he will still need weekly bandage changes for another 6–8 weeks followed by a very slow return to normal activity. 🩹🐾

And honestly… Buster has NO idea just how much good karma has come his way. 🥹✨

🐾✨ HOPE, COMMUNITY & A LITTLE GOOD KARMA ✨🐾
Last week, three tiny little kittens were found scared, vulnerable, and needing help… and honestly, how could anyone resist those sweet little faces?! 🥺🐱💛

While The Good Karma Project doesn’t typically take in kittens, sometimes the universe puts tiny souls in your path for a reason 🌎✨ And thanks to our AMAZING community, these babies are now safe, loved, and doing so well already! 🙌🐾

We are especially blessed for an incredible foster who originally stepped up to take TWO kittens… and then when the third baby was found, didn’t hesitate for a second to jump right in and say YES to all three 😭💕 THAT is what compassion and community look like!

These kittens do belong to another wonderful rescue, Its-Meow-or-Never 🐈‍⬛💖, and they are going to need a very expensive enucleation surgery in the future. Rescue work is never easy, and medical care like this can be overwhelming financially 😢💔

The Good Karma project doesn’t have a lot on our plate right now, and we believe deeply in giving back, helping others, and paying kindness forward whenever we can 🌈✨ Because THAT is what Good Karma is all about 💫
