💜🐾 JOURNEY’S NEW LIFE BEGINS…🐾💜✨
Yesterday, we welcomed sweet Journey into The Good Karma Project family. 💜 And because of YOU, our amazing Good Karma family, we were able to give her the fresh start she so desperately needed. 🙏🐾

Journey underwent her distal limb amputation, and tonight she is resting peacefully at Quincy Animal Hospital while she begins to heal. 🏥💜

Tomorrow, she gets to leave the hospital and head to her foster home, where she’ll have a soft bed, loving arms, and a whole new world waiting for her. 🏡🐶💕

Today, we learned that Journey is heartworm positive. 💔🦟
But you know what?
Heartworm is just another chapter in Journey’s story. It is NOT the ending. 📖✨
She has already faced pain. She has already lost a limb. And she has already shown us just how incredibly strong she is. 💪🐾 Now she gets to learn what it feels like to be safe, loved, spoiled, and wanted. 💜

🚨🐾 URGENT CALL FOR HELP… AND A LITTLE GOOD KARMA 💜✨🐾

Today, we received an urgent call from Animal Control asking if we could help a precious girl who desperately needed someone in her corner. 💔🐶
This sweet girl was picked up as a stray in Greensboro, and sadly, it appears that she had a string or something similar tied tightly around her leg. 😢💔 The damage has been devastating. A portion of her foot is already missing, and unfortunately, amputation is necessary to prevent continued pain and suffering and give her the chance at a comfortable life. 🐾❤️‍🩹

We said YES. 💜

Because sometimes good Karma comes in the form of saying, “We’ll take her. We’ll figure it out.” ✨🐾

We are incredibly grateful that Dr. Beth at Quincy Animal Hospital has agreed to perform her surgery tomorrow. 🙏🏼🏥💗 And our amazing reacue partner Cauzican Care Rescue has also stepped up to give this girl a safe, loving place to recover. 🏡🐶💕

Now we need OUR COMMUNITY to come together for her. 💜🤝
Our goal is to raise enough to cover:
🐾 Her amputation surgery
🐾 Heartworm testing
🐾 F***l testing
🐾 Vaccines
🐾 Her future spay
🐾 And the ongoing care she will need as she begins this new chapter

We don't know what this sweet girl has endured before today. We don't know how long she lived with that string around her leg. But we DO know that her story doesn't have to end there. ❤️

Her next chapter can be filled with soft beds, full bellies, belly rubs, safety, love, and people who never give up on her. 🥹🐾✨

That is what The Good Karma Project is all about. 🌈💜 Community. Compassion. Rehabilitation. Resilience. Devotion. 🐾

It takes a village to change a life, and tonight we're asking our village to rally around this little girl. 🏡🤝🐶
