We’re grateful to everyone who came out to learn, reflect, and engage in meaningful conversations about niu. The evening reminded us that caring for our coastlines, food systems, and Hawaiʻi requires all of us to be a part of the movement together.
A special mahalo to our partners, GoFarm Hawaiʻi, the Niu Forever Film team, for helping bring this screening to life, and to our incredible panelists for sharing their knowledge.

🌱 Keoni Kamanawa Naholowaa DiFranco, Minister of Interior, Independent & Sovereign Nation State of Hawai‘i
🌱 Kima Wassel Hardy, Urban Agroecology Consultant & Food Sovereignty Advocate, Earth Innovation

And mahalo nui to our moderator, Jocelyn Whei-Tsi Grandinetti, Senior (Re)Learning Strategic Coordinator at Sustainable Coastlines Hawai’i, for guiding such a thoughtful discussion. The recording from the panel will be made available in our upcoming newsletter and YouTube later in June.
