⚠️ Weather Update: Mardi Gras Market Canceled ⚠️

Due to severe weather forecasts, the Bossier Arts Council has decided to cancel this weekend’s Mardi Gras Market in the East Bank District. Your safety comes first—please stay safe and dry!

Good news: You can always visit our gift shop at 2101 Hwy 80, Haughton, LA 71037, Monday-Friday, to find unique, handcrafted pieces.

Valentine’s Day with Matters of the Art ❤️🎨 The best way to celebrate love is through friendship, creativity, and a little something sweet! Today, we shared smiles over muffins and watched a romantic comedy, but the real treat was the love and kindness we poured into making handmade Valentine’s cards for each other. Friendship is like art—beautiful, unique, and made with care. Just like every brushstroke tells a story, every kind word and gesture we share adds color to our lives. 💕 Here’s to friendship, creativity, and the joy of making something special for the people who make our days brighter! 🩷

Join us for an evening full of fun, art, and local culture on Saturday, February 15th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the East Bank District and Plaza in Bossier City, LA (600 Block Barksdale Blvd). We can’t wait to connect with the community and share all the amazing things Evergreen Life Services-Matters of the Art is doing! 💜

The Bossier Arts Council has invited Evergreen Life Services - Matters of the Art to be a part of the East Bank Holiday Market this weekend, and we couldn't be more thrilled! 🎨✨

🗓 Date: Saturday, December 7th
⏰ Time: 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
📍 Location: East Bank District and Plaza, 600 Block Barksdale Blvd, Bossier City, LA 71111

Important Note on Weather: 🌧️
We're keeping a close eye on the forecast leading up to the event. If there's a chance of scattered showers, we'll proceed as planned! However, if heavy storms are expected, the Bossier Arts Council will make the decision by Friday, December 6th to cancel.
