The Rescue Room The Rescue Room is a youth-focused ministry committed to spiritual healing, restoration, and identity in Christ. I appreciate it all.

It exists to rescue this generation from darkness through truth, prayer, deliverance, and discipleship, reviving every young believer. The Bus Stop Ministry came about because there was a bully in the neighborhood. I start going to the bus stop with the kids to protect them and to make them feel safe. I began to teach them lessons from the bible related to bullying. Then I gave them scriptures to

learn and not just to recite but to "hide in their hearts". As I'm doing this, I began to realize that the bus stop kids have hidden issues and hurts so I've committed to helping them in anyway I can. My first and foremost goal is to be sure they know God and His marvelous works. However, I desire to take them on more outings, trips, and even assist them in areas where they lack. We have sponsors who has sponsored them to have tshirts, go to the trampoline park, and given them a great Christmas gifts. Coming to a bus stop near you!

When former Nickelodeon star Daniel Curtis Lee learned his old co-star was homeless, he went looking for him. He found Tylor Chase, who once played Martin Qwerly on Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide, living on the streets of Riverside, California.
The two shared a long hug that showed just how much their bond still mattered. Daniel took Tylor out for pizza, helped him get out of the rain, and checked him into a hotel so he could be safe for the night. They even FaceTimed their old friend Devon Werkheiser and reminded Tylor that he was not forgotten.
Daniel later shared that he also helped Tylor reconnect with his father and said, "Love is all we can really give people sometimes." While the road ahead may still be difficult for Tylor, it's beautiful that he has real friends like Daniel.

Sweetie, where are your parents? I still remember that voice. I was six, sitting on the floor by the dryers. My biological mom left me there and never came back. I kept staring at the door, waiting. People walked past me until Kate stopped. She asked me that question, then sat beside me. She stayed with me at the station for hours. No one showed up. Every number they tried failed. I had nothing but the clothes I was wearing. Kate came back the next morning. And the next. She brought snacks, a blanket, and a small notebook for me. She told the workers she’d foster me “until the right thing happens.” The right thing ended up being adoption papers with her name on them. She raised me on her own. Two jobs. Every school event, every tough night, she was there. I became an officer because I wanted to be what she was for me—someone who doesn’t walk past a lost kid. She still calls me her best decision.

Parents,

YouTube KIDS have a video that’s surfacing that teach kids how to kill themselves and their parents. Keep your eyes and ears opened. I banned Jordan and Paul from YouTube months ago and I didn’t have a reason too but I felt I had to protect them from something. I see now! Be careful y’all monitor your kids.

Tips for parents to increase involvement in your child's education:

1. Make frequent visits to your child's school.
2. Establish after school routines for completing homework and projects.
3. Regularly communicate with classroom teachers.
4. Send children to school prepared to learn.
5. Become familiar with and support the school's behavior expectations.
6. Prioritize extracurricular activities.
7. Arrange appointments before or after school. Attendance matters!
8. Monitor your child's use of social media.
9. Maintain a positive attitude about your child's learning.
10. Be proactive not reactive.

My Bus Stop Kids taught me this song and some of it true it says "Let's pick up this paper and put down the guns".....Let's teach them how to be future business owners, developers, etc. These children are our future so lets groom the future, shape the future, create the future.
