Our programs such as Cub Scouts and Scouts BSA run year round, you can register or find units near you at any time at BeaScout.org The Pine Burr Area Council, chartered by the Boy Scouts of America, serves 17 counties across South Mississippi with a mission to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices by instilling the values of the Scout Oath and Law. Ready to take your Cub Scout pack camping with confidence? BALOO (Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation) is the training every Pack needs to run a successful overnight campout!

During this hands-on overnight training, you’ll learn everything from outdoor cooking and campfire programs to Cub Scout camping policies and essential outdoor skills. Plus, you’ll spend the night camping with fellow leaders who love Scouting just as much as you do.

⚠️ Remember: Every Pack overnight campout requires at least one BALOO-trained adult leader.

Come prepared to camp and ready to learn! 🏕️
