2026 State 4-H Congress was filled with busy schedules, late nights, fun workshops, and contests. Our senior age 4-H members came home with long lasting memories, a deeper appreciation for 4-H, and new friendships from around the state!

Forrest County 4-H is happy to announce that we are giving out two $100 camp scholarships this year. Youth must write an Essay in their own handwriting about "Why I want to attend 4-H Summer Camp". It is permissible to have a typed-up version in addition to the child's handwriting, but we strongly encourage our 4-H'ers to write to the best of their ability.

How the Camp Scholarship Works-

1. Campers turn in Registration forms and Essay by May 22nd

2. Winners are selected and announced

3. Winners pay the remaining $50 Camp registration fee

🌸🎨The Forrest County JR Master Gardeners were busy last week prepping the garden. We planted squash, cucumbers, peppers, wildflowers, and okra. They also painted pots for there zinnias they planted in their DIY seed starters from our first meeting.🌸🎨

🏹🎯🍀Forrest County 4-H Big Shots member, Addie G., has accepted a scholarship to PRCC for Archery!🏹🎯🍀

We are so proud of Addie and can't wait to watch her continue to grow and succeed in her future endeavors.

Forrest County wants YOU to go to 4-H State Congress. We will hold an interest meeting for guardians and senior 4-H members (14-18) on 4/14 at 5:30pm!
