🚑❤️ What a way to end Community Helpers Week! ❤️🚑

C.H. Johnson Head Start & Early Head Start wrapped up an outstanding week with a special visit from Triple A Ambulance Service.

The EMTs gave our children the opportunity to explore the ambulance, learn about emergency care, and even have their blood pressure and pulse checked!

Thank you to Triple A Ambulance Service for helping make Community Helpers Week such a fun and educational experience for our young learners. 🚑❤️📚

💙🖤 A Special Visit from the Petal Police Department! 🖤💙

C.H. Johnson Head Start/Early Head Start was excited to welcome the Petal Police Department to our center!

During their visit, the officers talked with our children about the importance of booster seats, seat belts, and staying safe. Our students were eager to share what they know, making sure the officers understood that their parents stop when the traffic light turns red! 🚦😊

To make the day even more memorable, the officers officially swore in all of the children as Junior Officers and presented each child with a badge to take home.

Thank you to the Petal Police Department for taking the time to educate, encourage, and inspire our young learners. We appreciate your commitment to keeping our community safe and helping our children learn important safety habits at an early age! 💙🖤🚔👮‍♂️✨

What a wonderful afternoon at the Pine Belt Community Baby Shower! 🍼💙

Health Advocate Ms. Celeste, along with USM Social Work Interns Mariah, Emily, and Hanna, under the supervision of Mr. Robinson, partnered with Molina Healthcare of Mississippi to support local families as part of the Pine Belt Community Baby Shower.

Hundreds of families came through the event, where we were able to provide baby giveaways, Head Start goodies, and connect with interested expectant mothers and families seeking information about Head Start services.

We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with Molina Healthcare and other community organizations to support parents, children, and growing families throughout the Pine Belt. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and helped make this event a success! 💙👶🎉

C.H. Johnson Head Start & Early Head Start was excited to welcome the Petal Fire Department! Our children enjoyed exploring the fire truck, learning about its equipment, and hearing the siren up close.

A special thank you to Petal Fire Department for a memorable visit, the firefighter hats, and for showing our children what it means to serve and protect our community. Hats off to PFD! 🚒🧢❤️
