The Mississippi SHINE Project has been an incredible partner to MCLSC and to so many communities across Mississippi. No matter the event, your team was always willing to show up, support, and serve. Whether inviting MCLSC to your events or joining ours, even when the invitation came at the last minute. You were always there with a spirit of collaboration and a genuine commitment to helping others.

I hate to see this program come to an end because it has been such a valuable asset, especially for our rural communities where resources can be limited. The impact you've made through education, outreach, partnerships, and service will continue to be felt for years to come.

📣 Community Partners Needed – July 2026 CMPDD Intake Sessions

The Mississippi Center for Legal Services is currently seeking churches, organizations, and community centers in Hinds, Simpson, Rankin, Madison and Yazoo Counties to partner with us by hosting CMPDD Legal Intake Sessions scheduled for July 2026.

These sessions provide free civil legal intake services for seniors aged 60 and older. Host sites are asked to provide:
• Two private spaces to allow our intake worker and attorney to meet confidentially with individuals.
• A waiting area where clients can comfortably wait during the intake process and where MCLSC staff can display brochures, flyers, and other informational resources.

Interested in hosting beyond July? We are also seeking potential host sites for our September and November 2026 CMPDD Intake Sessions.
