The Mississippi Osteopathic Medical Association was founded in 1980 and served as Mississippi's only physician organization exclusively devoted to representing osteopathic physicians in Mississippi. n our state. MOMA is dedicated to providing quality CME for our members, advocating for osteopathic medicine in our state and nation, and meeting the needs of our members. The primary objective of the MOMA is to be the premier state organization with the prominent role of ensuring a supportive working environment and opportunities for osteopathic physicians in Mississippi. The MOMA will serve as a significant force in providing quality health care in underserved areas of the state by promoting the philosophy and practice of osteopathic medicine in Mississippi, providing quality continuing medical education (CME) for physicians, educating the public about osteopathic medicine, and promoting the delivery of quality, cost-effective health care.
