The Hub City Garden Club has requested scout assistance with a Habitat for Humanity Landscaping Project at 733 Davidson Place. They need help specifically with digging flower beds, moving top soil from side yard to flower beds, and mixing it, carrying shrubs to beds and help with planting, playing pine straw around plants as well. If you can come, they are are asking volunteers to bring shovels, and possibly wheel barrows. They are asking for Saturday, December 2nd. While a time has not been identified, we would anticipate it being early that morning. For more information or to indicate your intentions to be there (or your units) please contact Sue Pace with the Hub City Garden Club at 601-554-6252

Good Morning Cub Scout Families,

We are excited to let you know about one of our most favorite events of the year: FALL FAMILY CAMP! This year’s Fall Family Camp will be Jumanji themed and you do NOT want to miss the fun that we have in store! This is a Council sponsored event for not just Cub Scouts, but their families as well! There will be lots of activities, good food, & a fun weekend outdoors that the whole family can enjoy!!

**The early registration price is still in effect for one more month. The price for this event goes up on September 29th **

**Reminder: this event has sold out for the past 2 years. If you plan to attend – please register as soon as possible**

A few helpful reminders & time savers are listed for you below:
• To save time at check-in please print health forms and fill one out for EACH family member that will be attending.
• Have your Cub Scouts show up in whatever they want to wear but make sure to bring their uniform for supper time.
• Wear comfy shoes!
• Bring cash for the trading post – there will be snacks, drinks, t-shirts, & more available for purchase.
• Lunch for Saturday is not provided, bring a sack lunch for the whole family!
• There will be a trailer that carries your gear back to your campsite for you if needed but try to pack light!
• Have fun!!!
