Look What Is Coming to Hattiesburg!

The new Men’s Cottages at Lighthouse Rescue Mission are taking shape — and behind every room, every table and every place of welcome is a reminder of God’s provision.

The Lord provides through His people. Through those who pray. Those who give. Those who serve. And those who simply see a need and respond.

We are thankful for everyone helping Lighthouse prepare a place of hope and a new beginning for men in our community.

The heart of our community continues to bless Lighthouse. ❤️

An anonymous donor has generously provided 14 new heating and air-conditioning units for seven cottages that will soon become home to men beginning a new chapter at Lighthouse Rescue Mission.

It takes many caring hearts and helping hands to make a ministry like this possible. Once again, someone in our Hattiesburg community saw a need and quietly stepped forward to meet it.

A hot day. A heart for serving. ❤️

The summer heat didn’t slow down these William Carey University students who volunteered their time and energy to help at Lighthouse Rescue Mission!

We are so grateful for young people willing to roll up their sleeves, work hard, and serve others. The day was hot, but their fervor for helping others was even stronger!

Sometimes it’s the little things that say a lot… like our Lighthouse cat curled up by the new van 🐾

The families at Lighthouse Rescue Mission are excited about a much better way to travel together—whether it’s heading to church or enjoying time out as a group.

Before this, it often took two or three vehicles to get everyone where they needed to go. Now, we can go together.

A heartfelt thank you to First Baptist Church Brooklyn for donating this van in such great condition. Your kindness is making a real difference in everyday life here.

Want to put a smile on a child’s face… and a mom’s too?

An unexpected delivery showed up at Lighthouse Rescue Mission for Women & Children in Hattiesburg - a freezer full of ice cream and frozen treats.

And just like that… smiles appeared, laughter followed, and for a moment, things felt a little lighter.

It’s a reminder that the Lord moves in all kinds of ways—even through something as simple as an anonymous drop-off of ice cream.
