Mississippi Conference on Social Welfare Mississippi Conference on Social Welfare serves as an educational institution for social welfare.

The purpose of MCSW is to promote social well being through:
- Methods and principle of social service administration
- Promoting coordination of social service agencies
-Assisting persons and institutions increase efficiency
-Disseminating reliable information regarding social issues
-Developing concerted action to produce practical results
- Promoting social welfare in Mississippi

Products

MCSW Membership is a January – December membership. Annual dues are $40.00. If you paid your membership dues the previous year at a District Conference or Annual Forum, the membership is valid

through December 31st of that year. Your membership will need to be renewed for the current year.
Membership is open to anyone interested in social welfare and human services. Membership is
composed of practitioners, administrators, consultants, educators, researchers, volunteers, lay citizens and students. Disciplines include, but are not limited to, Social Worker, Law Enforcement, Nursing,
Mental Health, Counseling, Advocacy, Concerned Citizens….ANYONE INTERESTED IN PROMOTING
SOCIAL WELFARE!

Student membership is $10 per calendar year and allows the student to attend district conferences and receive a discount at the Annual Forum.



BENEFITS OF BEING A MEMBER:

$40 Membership Fee- Includes THREE FREE district conferences and reduced rates for additional
District Conferences and Annual Forum.

Members are eligible for the Merit Awards.
