Today was a beautiful milestone for ASC! 🏡♥️
We are incredibly grateful to the Area Development Partnership for helping us celebrate the ribbon cutting of Sheley Place and for welcoming this moment with such warmth and support.
Sheley Place is more than a property—it represents stability, dignity, hope, and home. This milestone reflects ASC’s continued commitment to strengthening lives and communities throughout Mississippi.

To our Board of Directors, staff, partners, supporters, and everyone who joined us today: thank you for being part of this moment.

And to those who will call Sheley Place home—welcome home. 🏡

Today, we cut a ribbon. Tomorrow, we continue the work. ♥️

The “21st Century ROAD to Housing Act” became law on July 11. This is the first big housing law that both major parties have agreed on since the 1990s. is celebrates this bill's passage and thanks everyone who worked hard to make it happen.

We created a new guide to help renters and advocates understand what the new law means. Even though the law has passed, there are still chances to speak up about how it will be put into action. People can share their ideas during the rulemaking process, which decides how the programs will work.
