🗣️ HAPPY GRADUATION DAY 🎓‼️

First thing first, we would like to congratulate all of our hardworking seniors! You guys worked so hard and we couldn’t have been more proud ( ˊᵕˋ )♡ Not only that, but thank you guys for coming and supporting us through all of our events and meetings, and representing our organization on campus. We wish you all good luck and the best in the future!

For our last senior, we want to say our one last goodbye to JANNIE NGUYEN! She is graduating in POLITICAL SCIENCE with a minor in SPANISH! ⚖️

Jannie has been involved with our VSA for 2.5 years, where she served as our ex-Secretary for E-Board 2022-2023, and became a general member for the other times. Her favorite VSA memory was Egg Roll Bowl 2022 at Mississippi State University, “It was my first time at a VSA event interacting with students from others schools, and it was so much fun to see everyone’s competitiveness! From then on, I saw VSA as a community of diverse individuals who encourage each other through academics and leadership positions while spreading awareness about the unique Vietnamese culture. VSA is truly an organization that is student-led!”

After graduation, Jannie will be taking a gap year to study for the LSATs and apply for law school and pursue an internship at the Mississippi Center for Justice in Biloxi, MS.

We will miss seeing you around Jannie and we wish you the best of luck!! ( ͡ಥ‿ ಥ)━☆ﾟ.*･｡ﾟ

🗣️ 1 MORE DAY TIL GRADUATION 🎓

Our next lovely senior is HANNAH NGUYEN, who will be graduating in ACCOUNTING 🧾

Hannah has been with us for 1 year, where she attended and contributed through many of our general meetings and profit share events! Her favorite VSA moment are the ice breakers at the general meetings ( ⸝⸝´꒳`⸝⸝)!

Hannah will be going to graduate school at USM after undergrad!

Thank you Hannah for always bringing a positive vibe to our VSA!

🗣️ 2 MORE DAYS TIL GRADUATION 🎓

Next up, we have our lovely senior—KATHY MAI. She is graduating with a major in SPEECH PATHOLOGY & minor in PSYCHOLOGY 🗯️🧠

Kathy has been in VSA for 5-6 years, where she had served on E-Board for 2 years in the past. In addition, she has been involved in many things outside of our VSA, such as being on staff and alumni for Camp Delta, an auctionee for Talent Auction, performed for many other events for UVSAGC, and the list goes on! Her favorite moments in VSA were the ones where everyone just hung out at each other’s places, cooking and eating good food together, playing games and having deep talks ( ᵒ̴̶̷᷄◡̶͂ᵒ̴̶̷᷅ )و.

After graduating undergrad, Kathy plans to do more schooling AKA grad school!

Thank you Kathy for always supporting us through your dedication and commitment towards our organization!

USMVSA would like to recognize our seniors who helped contribute to the atmosphere and community by supporting us through events, meetings, and philanthropies.

Let’s welcome our one of a kind CALEB COLEMAN, graduating in CRIMINAL JUSTICE 🚨‼️

Caleb has been involved with our VSA for 2 years, in which he grew to really enjoy the company of everyone in the organization by meeting new people and experiencing parts of the culture. His favorite moment with us was at the End of Year Bash from 2023, where he felt he grew a lot closer to all the people that went (҂ ꒦ິヮ꒦ິ)…

After graduation, Caleb will be moving to Texas to work at the Wise County Sheriff’s Office 🚔

Thank you for always being here with us! We will miss you very much!

“IS SOMEONE PLAYING FUTURE?”

Let’s meet our last intern: VIANNA TRẦN!

⋆˚✿˖° She is a FRESHMAN majoring in FINANCE & is interning under SECRETARY.

⤷ Who inspired you growing up?
“Although I like to say that I had no role models growing up because I like to make my own mark and be my own person, the person who inspired me to be like that is my sister. Having an eight year age gap was not easy as we were both experiencing different eras of our lives simultaneously. However, I know that at the end of the day it didn’t matter because when I needed my big sister she was always there for me. Today, I aspire to be as carefree and headstrong as she is!”

⤷ What was your favorite childhood meal?
“Gọi Cuon!! IT’S SAUR FIREEE MAN”

⤷ What was the best movie to watch growing up that you still watch now?
“The Parent Trap with Lindsay Lohan. I watched it again pretty recently, and it just brings back nostalgia! It’s a cute little movie.”

⤷ If you can go back in time, what would you say to your childhood self?
“Life works itself out, even when it feels like it won’t :)) This generation is filled with over thinkers and anxiety, and I definitely was not spared. Instead of spending our youth anxious and depressed, we should take things one day at a time and live in the moment! There’s no need to worry about the future when we don’t know what tomorrow brings. Have fun and enjoy your youth because you’re only young once!”

“I loveeee spring rolls 😍😍 It’s such a childhood staple! Can’t forget to include imitation crab 🦀”

⤷ What was the best movie to watch growing up that you still watch now?
“Princess and the Frog was the best 🐸👑!! Beignets hold my heart foreva”

⤷ If you can go back in time, what would you say to your childhood self?
“Enjoy life! You’re doing great gurlie pop 🤗”
