🚨2026 HDGA BAG TAG CHALLENGE🚨

Welcome to the 2026 HDGA Bag Tag Challenge at the newly redesigned Tatum Disc Golf Park! We have a big day planned and hope to see all of our HDGA Family. Lunch will be provided and will consist of hamburgers, hot dogs, and chips. We will have water onsite as well. Cost for this year will be $25/player. This will give each player access to the digital tag system, League HQ, HDGA liability insurance through Sadler Insurance, a physical tag at the year end HDGA party.

This year we are doing a Doubles/CTP round from the red tees in the morning. This is not a tag round and is also not mandatory to attend for the bag tag round in the afternoon. Entry for the Doubles/CTP will be $10 per player. $9 goes to the payouts and $1 to HDGA. If you need more info on how this round will play feel free to contact any HDGA BOD member.

Lunch will be from 11:00-1:00. We also want to welcome all you swap meet folks to come out to buy/sell/trade your discs with others that might want to do the same. The past couple of years this has not only been a fun way to get some new to you discs, but a way to talk DG and enjoy the company of other HDGA members.

The bag tag round will follow and should start at 1:00. Cards will be like league play is; pick your cards but keep them to 3-4 players ONLY! No exceptions. After the bag tag round we will pay out CTP's, any Aces on the day, and have the HDGA Raffle! The purpose for the raffle this year is to raise funds to update and install wayfinding signage at our area courses. This was outlined in the HDGA meeting. If you have discs, bags, gift cards, or any other items you'd like to add to the raffle please let a BOD member know. Donnie Frederick has set the tone and added (2) brand new Grip bags to start it off right! Thank you all for the support in 2025 and let's really dig in this year. We have some extremely huge opportunities on the near horizon for our area, but it will take some work to get it done. The schedule with approximate times for the day is below.

HDGA 2026 Bag Tag Challenge will be held on 3/21/26. Signups are open; link ⬇️

Lunch will be provided, there will be a disc swap meet from 11-1. Bring your traders, unwanted discs, premium discs you want to gather interest on, or any other DG items to trade/sell.

We will have a doubles/ctp round in the morning starting at 9:00. Playing the red tees. Cost is $10 per player. $9 to payout $1 to HDGA. This will be flip-up random draw doubles.

Second round wil start at 1:00. Most players will be playing from a mix of white/red tees and all AM ladies, 60 years and older will play from the red tees.

We are using digital tags this year so please sign up early so we can have the appropriate amount of tags purchased before the event. To use the digital tags you’ll need to download the League HQ app in your phones App Store. Join Hattiesburg Disc Golf Association league. The rest will be taken care of at check in.

We are excited to get this year started off and look forward to another fantastic season th Hattiesburg.

We will be holding a raffle as well. All proceeds gathered from the raffle will go directly into the purchase of way finding signage on our area courses. So far there are 3 bags up for grabs and we’ve been told of several discs being put up as well. If you have items youd like to donate please reach out to any BOD members. TIA!

There’s been a ton of work done at Tatum over the past year. It’s not finished yet, but it’s getting there. While you’re playing please throw sticks and debris out of the fairway and please remove any trash you might see.

This feature was well received in 2023 and will again be the primary way we communicate with the 400+ players in the event this year. The app is complete with caddy guides, maps, lost disc forum, current scheduling information for the event, & much more.
