Our Annual Father's Day Weekend Jr. Fishing Derby is just around the corner!

This is such a fun event for the littles! We stock the pond and let em go!
Such a great opportunity to get kids and their families outside together, and for many- catching their first fish ever!

Join us Saturday, June 20th at the Gordon's Rim Rock Ranch in Old Station!
Ages 0-7 will start at 9am
Ages 8-12 will follow at 10:30am
Creekside Cravin's food truck will be on site!

What a fun day we got to have yesterday!
Started off slow at first, but the fishing picked up as the day went on and the kids ended up catching a good little haul with some tanks thrown in the mix!
Thankful for days like these! A simple BBQ on the pond, cheers heard across the water as fish were being reeled in, endless laughter and shenanigans, great company, and the best way to kick off summer!

Proud of this young man for not giving up! Persistence really does pay off, and after a lot of persistence, Caleb earned himself this beautiful, 11inch bearded bird!

After what seemed like endless hiking and not a gobble to be heard all morning, this guy finally sounded off and Caleb had him on the ground in less than 10 minutes! You can imagine the celebration!

In the moment, all that hiking could have felt like wasted time, but we were reminded to not take our experiences and the lessons within them for granted, to enjoy the beauty around us, and that patience and hard work reap great rewards!

Thank you Fred for spending your morning with us, instilling your knowledge, and investing your time in this young man! Can't wait to do it again!
