Here are some pictures from today at our event at at Charlton Park!

Thank you Uncivilized Vitality for joining us today and teaching our friends some fun outside safety lessons! 🌲We learned how to tie all sorts of different knots and what they would be good for, how to create a shelter and how to use a LAF KIT- all the participants received their very own LAF KIT!

🚌 Thank you Barry County Transit for helping us get our Wings Of Hope Hastings friends out today to join in the fun! ❤️

👏👏Thank you to all the helpers and families that came out! We hope you had fun!

The kiddos enjoyed some kites 🪁 crafts 🐝 bracelet making and sensory play!

We ended the day with how to PROPERLY extinguish a fire 🔥 💦

We are hosting a Special Olympics volunteer interest night next Thursday, POSTPONED TO JUNE 18, from 6-7pm at Tyden Park in Hastings. If you're curious about becoming a volunteer or coach for Special Olympics, visit theabilitycollective.org/specialolympics to complete the volunteer interest form or email [email protected] to join our group.

🏃‍♀️‍➡️Athlete registration and medical forms are also available on our website! Athletes must have a current medical form on file to attend practice. We are forming a developmental bocce team this summer, and a bowling team later this year, so be sure to get those forms in!

There are so many ways to get involved!
