We’ve now helped 140 kids this year… and our biggest season is still ahead.

Thank you to everyone who has already given. Because of you, 140 children in Adams County have received brand-new clothing and essentials when they needed them most.

But the hardest stretch of the year is coming fast:

Cooler weather / seasonal clothing
Holidays

These are the times when referrals jump and the need is greatest. We want to be ready. We don’t want any child to wait or go without.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Threads of Grace so far — your generosity has already made a big difference in the lives of so many children.

As we head into the back-to-school season, the need is growing. Many kids will be starting school with nothing but what they arrived in. We want to be ready with brand-new outfits, shoes, backpacks, and supplies so they can walk into the classroom feeling confident and cared for.

We just sent out bags #1000, #1001, and #1002! 🎉

We’ve officially crossed the incredible milestone of 1,000 children served since Threads of Grace began — and we’re already at 111 kids helped in 2026!

Every single one of these duffels means a child in foster care or crisis received brand-new clothing, a warm coat, pajamas, socks, a blanket, and a stuffed animal to hold tight — all when they needed it most.

This moment feels huge. Thank you to every single person who has donated, volunteered, prayed, or shared our mission along the way. This milestone belongs to all of us.

Today is National Foster Care Day, and May is National Foster Care Month.

Every 2 minutes, a child in the United States enters the foster care system — stepping into fear, uncertainty, and a brand-new chapter.

At Threads of Grace, we believe that moment matters deeply. Instead of arriving with nothing but the clothes on their backs, we want every child in Adams County to receive a brand-new duffel filled with clothing, a warm coat, pajamas, socks, underwear, a soft blanket, and a stuffed animal to hold tight — so they feel seen, cared for, and wrapped in dignity from the very beginning.
