This is a travel basketball program participating in the Red Cedar Basketball League

Good morning!

Next week Monday through Wednesday the Hastings boys varsity basketball team will be hosting their annual summer camp at the high school. This is open to all incoming 3rd graders up to 8th grade.

There is still time to sign up for the 3 on 3 basketball tournament tomorrow!!

They are really looking for upper elementary and middle school girls to round out some of the competition.

The final team we would like to recognize for this 2026 season is the 8th grade boys! This past weekend they traveled to Okemos for their end of season tournament. They played so well defensively as a team and really came together! At the end of two days they went undefeated and came home with first place!! Congrats on a great tournament and season 8th graders!

This weekend our final two HYAA basketball teams wrapped up their season! The 7th and 8th grade boys both traveled to their end of season tournaments.

The 7th grade boys made their way to Morrice where they went undefeated in tournament play and took home first place!! This team played aggressive defense and passed the ball incredibly well. The most exciting part for this team was in the championship game every single player scored a basket!! That’s amazing teamwork and unselfishness. Congrats on a great season and first place finish 7th grade boys!

The final boys basketball team we would like to recognize is our 3rd grade boys. Unfortunately, we did not get any team photos of them, but if you have some please feel free to post them here. This team had eight players all year long and they had to work together every single game. They really grew in their fundamentals of the game and were incredibly hard working. We cannot thank our coaches from this team enough for their time and dedication. Great season boys! We are looking forward to next season!
