Adams County 4-H Program, Nebraska 4-H is open to ALL YOUTH, of ALL ABILITIES ages 5 to 18. Youth can join 4-H at any time of the year.

We strongly recommend youth enroll by April 15th to have the best participation in the Adams County 4-H Program.

The Adams County 4-H Program has some fun contest coming up next week. We ask for registrations on the 4-H Bowling tournament by Monday, June 22. Call us at 402-461-7209 and let us know if your youth will be competing in the bowling contest this year. Cost is $9 due at the time of bowling. June 25th will the the 4-H Rocket Contest begin held at 6:00pm.

The 4-H Jr Leaders is looking for help to work in the food booth during county fair. This is a good fund raiser for clubs or even some extra spending money for the youth. Call the Extension office with your availability. Available shifts are listed. 402-461-7209 by July 9th.

Attention: Nebraska 4-H State Fair Livestock Exhibitors ❗️
Don’t forget that June 15 is the deadline to complete the online nomination process for any livestock animal you may want to enter for the Nebraska State Fair 4-H.

The process includes:
• Enroll in 4-H
• Review the 4-H animal fairbooks and ID requirements
• Ask the Extension office for official DNA envelopes
• Go to Show Stock Manager and complete the online form for each livestock nomination
• Submit payment in Show Stock Manager
• Turn in your signed and sealed DNA envelopes with hair samples to the Extension office
