BRINGING THE ARTS TO SURVIVORS OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING
~ Teaching Artists providing workshops in the Arts ~

Hello world, we’ve been quiet for quite some time, but we have never stopped our work! Have a read and share the love. ❤️

Why the arts for survivors of trafficking?

Because the arts reach places that nothing else can… Where perhaps words don’t exist, but where the heart waits to find connection.

Creativity is the oldest healer on earth… and we are so grateful to be opening its doors for trafficking survivors.

When we gather around those that we support, it’s because our humanity knows the way and when you participate by donating, you have put your heart to a place of optimism over the human potential that waits to be ignited. As we celebrate the survivors we’ve trained who are now teaching artists. We do all we can to support them on their new professional journey.

Please join us this giving Tuesday to help us reach more and more survivors with the powerful and joyous experience of creativity!

Moving into the weekend with this affirmation 💫

Rep. John Lewis died in 2020. This painting is a tribute to his long-fought efforts for Racial Justice, Civil Rights and Voting Rights in the US. When he was 18 he first met MLK, and this painting depicts him traversing that early moment, right to this moment, where his legacy continues to (in his words) “make good trouble.” Inscribed above the Black Angel is a quote from John Lewis: “Nothing can stop the power of a committed and determined people to make a difference in our society. Why? Because human beings are the most dynamic link to the Divine on the planet.”

Stay informed❣️ Human Trafficking is all around the U.S. Knowing how to spot indicators and also reporting to the hotline could save a life.
