Dear Community Members and Partners,

We are thrilled to cordially invite you to the grand opening of our new office, located at 3721 Michigan Avenue, Suite 301A, Lansing, MI 48917.

The celebration will take place on July 9th at 5:00 pm. This event marks a significant milestone in our commitment to fostering inclusive environments and providing essential support for individuals with disabilities.

We look forward to sharing our vision for the future, discussing our ongoing advocacy efforts for the disability community, and providing a detailed overview of the vocational rehabilitation services we offer to help individuals achieve economic self-sufficiency and career success.

We are so excited to share that Artsy Able for Reed and Flax Community Services participated in the Spring Fling craft fair in Mason, Michigan!

A massive thank you goes out to the Uplift Our Youth Foundation for their generous support in funding the materials needed to create our beautiful bracelets. We are so grateful for their commitment to empowering young creators.

We also want to give a special shout-out to Kennedy Flood, who joined us today! Kennedy was eager to learn about the mission of our nonprofit and jumped right in to volunteer at our booth. Through this experience, Kennedy gained valuable hands-on cash handling skills while helping us connect with the community.

If you would like to participate in Artsy Able, please call 517-242-4991 or email [email protected].

A huge thank you to our newest community partner, Capital Area District Libraries! The Haslett/Okemos branch invited Artsy Able to their after-school program to do personality boards!

Each youth displayed and talked about their personality board, which represented who they are as a person, their values, dreams, and aspirations. This activity is useful when helping kids get in touch with their true selves, personal goals, and sense of identity.

Artsy Able incorporates art as a form of therapy, socialization in a group-based setting, and vocational skill-building. To book a group call, 517-242-4991!
