Ridgewood High School Band was the benefactor of our 2025 Bingo Auction Signature Event Fundraiser. Through funds raised at that event, our Club was able to purchase a bass clarinet for Ridgewood’s Band. Today we were honored to be guests at the Pops Concert where we were recognized for our contribution and able to see a beautiful performance by the Band. It was music to our ears! 🎶

On April 12, Kiwanis Clubs of Division 6 of Illinois-Eastern Iowa District, of which our Club is part of, hosted the annual Bowl-a-thon Fundraiser. This event benefits YMCA Camp Independence and Kiwanis Neuroscience Research Foundation. Each year we support this I-I District event by sponsoring a lane, putting together baskets for their raffle and members of our club along with friends and family bowl at the event. It’s lots of fun for a good cause!

As you know, over the years, we raised funds for Camp Independence which is a specialized camp for children and young adults with spinal bifida and other neurological disabilities. We’d like to share a powerful story highlighting the impact of Camp Independence and what it means for the individuals and families the camp serves.
