🍂 As summer winds down and the kids head back to school and college, we’re looking for a few more helping hands at Operation Hold Your Horses Rescue! ❤️🐴

Whether you’re an FFA member, agricultural student looking for SAE hours, a homeschool student, a stay-at-home parent, retired, or someone who works from home and wants to get out for a few hours in the morning, we’d love to have you join our team!

No horse experience? That’s okay! We’ll teach you what you need to know. We’re looking for dependable, caring people who want to make a difference in the lives of horses and our community.

Volunteer opportunities include:
🐴 Barn chores & horse care
🌾 Hands-on agricultural experience
🎪 Helping at community events & fundraisers
📱 Office, social media & administrative support
❤️ And so much more!

This fall and winter are shaping up to be busy with lessons, clinics, community events, fundraisers, and our Haunted Hooves Harvest Festival, so now is the perfect time to get involved.

Volunteering isn’t just about helping horses—it’s about becoming part of a family, learning new skills, meeting great people, and making a real impact.

We are incredibly grateful to have a full barn filled with wonderful horses, but at this time, Operation Hold Your Horses, Inc. is at capacity and currently has a waiting list for horses needing placement.

Even though we may not have an open stall, we are still here to help. If you have a companion or riding horse that you can no longer care for and need to relinquish, please reach out. We will do our best to help network, screen potential homes, and find a safe, suitable placement.

We are also looking for compassionate individuals and families interested in becoming approved foster homes or providing free-care leases for horses in need. In some cases, thanks to donations, we may also be able to provide financial assistance toward feed, medications, supplements, or other maintenance needs for horses placed in approved foster or care-lease homes.

Doing just what, I honestly do not know, but looking for a few new and current volunteers to help with Am chores, feeding, feeding and turn outs and PM chores turning in and feeding.
