Practices:
Most Practices will be held at: Harwich Elementary School. Practice schedules will vary by team. 4th and 5th Grade teams will likely practice twice a week for approximately 1.5 hours. 6th Grade teams, and above, practice schedule will be determined based on the School Team commitments. We would encourage players in 6th Grade and above to play on their School team, when possible, and
also play Travel (which is grade level competition)
Costs:
This year’s cost will vary by year and is required at your team’s first practice. Your money helps pay for gym rental/custodian fee, referees, League fees, tournament fees, insurance, equipment, etc. Schedule:
The Cape Cod Youth Basketball League (boys) and Old Colony League (girls) sets the schedule. Usually teams will play 2 games per weekend, 1 home, 1 away, on Saturday or Sunday. Home games will be at Monomoy Middle School or Harwich Elementary School. Teams will play a 14 game regular season (CCYBL) beginning the first weekend in December. Teams may participate in 2-3 pre or post season tournaments in addition to the CCBYL schedule.
