Welcome to STEM4Girls. This is a space for hybrid programs for girls who love science and stem. Stem is Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. A space for girls with step by step high touch instruction to build confidence and skills. The focus is on grades 5-8, ages 10-13. I am building an inclusive community from the ground up for all girls. I am including younger girls and older girls in this group- but the programs will be for ages 10-13. Those girls who experience program offerings will then be able to step into mentoring. And even the girls in the programs will be able to step into mentoring programs for younger girls.

An in-person and online program for the target age will be offered this summer in electronics. WELCOME to this new group for parents and girls!!

Yay!!! I have wrapped up my after school programming for 2025-2026 school year. My registration for the 2026-2027 will be available in July. I support home school families in Computer Science Education. "More than a course- a new way to learn!!" As you consider my programs for your K-12 students for next year I want to share with you that my students were invited to attend the "House of Code 2026" event this year!! Very exciting!

There is a difference between computer literacy and computer science. Computer literacy includes learning programs such as Microsoft office or Google drive. Computer science includes programming languages, hardware components and sustainability, algorithm development, data analysis, cybersecurity and other conceptual topics. Both are important. I teach K-12 computer science for after school and home school programs at CS4Youth, Inc. computer science microschool. Our next 8 week online session starts first wed in March and the online live classes are weekly at 4pm. I'm happy to send an application to join. The cost is a sliding scale based on tax deductible donation.
