NEPA Gives wrapped up last night and we wanted to say, thank you.

We're proud to report that NEPACMS received a strong showing of donations during this year's 24-hour regional giving event. Although we may not have taken home any prizes, the wonderful response gave us renewed confidence in our continued mission to foster the growth and awareness of chamber music in our region.

With heartfelt gratitude,
The Northeastern Pennsylvania Chamber Music Society

What does America sound like? Two violins, a viola, and a cello set out to answer that question in music spanning over a century of American life. These free library concerts feature string quartet music by Charles Ives, Scott Joplin, Philip Glass, Samuel Barber, and Jessie Montgomery, tied together by the "American" Quartet, written by Antonín Dvořák, a visitor who heard something in this country that he simply had to put on paper.

No prior experience with classical music needed! Just bring your curiosity.

The Northeastern Pennsylvania Chamber Music Society would like to thank all those who worked tirelessly to make our 10th anniversary season finale production of Stravinsky's "The Soldier's Tale" a huge success! This culmination brings us great joy and we could not have done this without our donors, supporters, and volunteers!

This event was sponsored, in part, by a grant from the Luzerne Foundation, and the armature and Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency. Additional support by the Philadelphia Foundation and the Margaret R. and Herbert R. Wakefield Memorial Fund.
