Salutations everyone! I'm sure you know in some way shape or form Jason Huizenga. If you don't know, he's recently had a terrible accident where he's falling off a bridge. From this accident he has the following injuries; shattered left tibia, broke left and right femurs, fractured the left hip(socket), shattered left and right wrists, broke left arm, broke right elbow, broke 5 ribs, cracked the sternum, broke his jaw, broke several bones in the orbital of the skull, and a partridge in a pear tree!
The purpose of this group is to show support, give progress updates, and help out however we can, not just as friends, not as family members, but as human beings. He has a long road to recovery, most of which he'll be in a financial limbo, and to get the most basic of necessities he'll have to get them on his own. So ANY help is accepted, appreciated, and grateful! We pray that you can open your hearts, because believe it or not, people caring for one another is a HUGE stimulus to the body, mind, and soul and is proven to assist in someone's recovery!

He's allowed sent in hygiene items, clothing items mainly sweatpants (because of the cast and hardware on the legs), and underwear(medium), waist size large 32W 32L, shirts size L-XL, and all the basic toiletries items. He can also get food items such as cookies, cakes, snack products, Also, airtime cards for his cell phone are also greatly appreciated(Straight-Talk available at Walmart only) More or less, he can get any food item so long as it can't leak or spoil while in transit.
Donations- You ask, what in the world does he need money for? Well, if you know him as well as I know him, he's a survivor, a fighter, and extremely self-sufficient.. He can truly fall into a pile of s**t, and come out smelling like a rose. But with everything that's happened to him in this, and with his current residence in Portland, OR he has lost everything in his life. Apartment, belongings in his apartment, E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G. So anything truly helps.
Visits are also appreciated. He knows how busy everyone's schedule is so even a quick pop-in with a quick "hey, how are you, we love you, let's pray together!" is not just appreciated, but greatly welcomed!
