Fleur de Lis All-Stars Basketball Organization

Fleur de Lis All-Stars was formed to address the growing need for positive after school activities for at-risk youths between the ages of 12 and 17 in the Greater New Orleans and surrounding parishes. We envision providing a safe environment, positive character and moral building experiences, as well as, greater opportunities for players often overlooked due to the lack of exposure to the national basketball circuit.

We have always shared a common interest in both basketball and the future leaders of tomorrow (our youth). Organizing an AAU travel team has allowed us the opportunity to positively affect the lives of 15 young men each of the last 3 years. Through the young men involved in this program, we have shined a bright light on an area darkened by 4 of the nation’s most catastrophic disasters in modern-day history. Fleur de Lis All-Stars recognize the importance of off-setting these obstacles with the qualities of Perseverance, Dedication and Teamwork. These attributes are all obtainable as a result of engaging youth in constructive, well organized sports and camaraderie. We hope and pray to continue to be able to provide these life changing experiences for many more young men and women in the time to come.
