CITCD serves Chicago’s south side with limited resources, offering educational services in the form of Abraar Academy (Pre-K-Grade 12), a free funeral facility, and a free cemetery (American Muslim Cemetery). Center for Islamic Teachings and Community Development (CITCD) serves Muslim communities in South Chicagoland, spanning 30 suburbs with diverse backgrounds. Our 80,000-square-foot facility ho

sts the community building, Abraar Academy school, weekend programs, a community center, and a free Muslim funeral facility. We are happy to start Illinois’ first free Muslim cemetery, run on a masjid model. Your donations drive our mission, aiding the Muslim community in South Chicago. We kindly encourage all parents to complete registration as soon as possible, as seats are limited.
