💜 WHY WE WEDNESDAY 💜

Why We Do What We Do

Sometimes the best explanation of why we support HWC students comes straight from the coaches who see the impact firsthand.

This week, we’re sharing a few words from Bret Dockter, HWC Head Football Coach, 6th Grade Teacher,
“Our HWC Booster Club is absolutely AMAZING! Any help that I ask for as a coach, they work hard to try to accommodate! They help make our players and coaches feel appreciated and that the work that is being put in matters to our community!

Most importantly, however, is their focus on helping every one of our student-athletes succeed. They are always ready to help one of our guys get to camp, go to speed training, or help the team get their hard-earned two-a-day shirts.

As I enter my 30th year of coaching the Hornets, I can honestly say that we have the best booster clubs in the state of ND.

🎉 Summer scholarship requests are due September 30, 2026 for consideration! If your kid attended a camp that you paid for and they attended, you can submit a scholarship request! Scholarship amounts vary from year to year depending on our budget! Our goal is to help HWC Students become the best version of themselves while helping families reduce their costs! Reminder HWC High performance is not an eligible camp for scholarships this year!

The countdown is on! Join us THIS FRIDAY, August 21st, starting at 5:45 PM for an HWC Football Tailgate! 🎉NDTC will be serving a Loaded Hot Dog Bar, Chips & a Cookie 🌭🥔🍪 It's free will offering and all proceeds go to the booster club.
