Day 1 Convention. We explored downtown Springfield, Abe Lincolns home, attended session, had dinner at Pizza Ranch and made a stop at Sheels.

Jackson did taxidermy, Bria made bouquets, Elena did animal photography, Skyler did softball profiles, Georgia made a family recipe scrapbook, Leona did pitching lessons, Alexandra welped puppies, Ava made jewelry, Jocelyn made chocolate covered strawberries, Olivia clipped her pigs, Kendra learned to fit her pigs, Logan prepared a deer skull, Eryn planted herbs, Yarel planted kitchen scrap garden vegetables, Charlie had a beef jerky company, Owen sold chicken eggs, Layla had a nail business, Venessa baked, Maddy raised chickens, Sophie got CPR certified.

Last night our officers got together for an officer retreat. They had a great time going to Myrt’s, playing bags, and ending with a bonfire.

May is SAE Showcase month. So far we’ve had 20 SAE Showcases! Emma Roesner did baking, Cash Stott did Cash Candy Co., Alex Bannwolf did hunting, Brianna Lopez grew herbs, Hannah Jimenez did hair, Joey Berkholtz made a table for his mom, Gabe Peter’s extended his Chicken coop, Khloe Vest raised ducks, Khloe Adam’s processed a deer, Jack Ramberg grew a garden, Violet Jones raised meat rabbits, Brennan Peters did compost, Hayden Binz did nails, Ashley Diaz volunteered at a cat shelter, Erica Ramirez started a baking business, Brandon Estrada did landscaping, Jacob Kelnhofer built a 3-wheeler, Marilyn Carranza did candle making, Case Wolf raised show pigs, and Kristi Knop made sourdough.
