Volunteers baked and purchased a delicious assortment of treats, including cookies, brownies, cupcakes, Rice Krispies treats, chicken salad sandwiches, and pimento cheese sandwiches, and personally delivered them to both offices as a small token of gratitude for their service to our community.

In honor of World Biking Day, the Hartwell Service League Health & Wellness CSP is encouraging our Hart County community to get outside and ride!

Biking is a wonderful low-impact exercise that supports heart health, strengthens muscles, improves balance, and can even help reduce fall risks as we age. Best of all, it’s a fun way to enjoy the beauty of our community while spending time with friends and family.

Gather your riding buddies and take on the scenic 13-mile ride from the Boat Ramp at Crawfords Ferry to Mill Town Campground. Whether you’re an experienced cyclist or just looking for a healthy outdoor activity, every mile is a step toward better wellness.

Let’s celebrate World Biking Day by moving, connecting, and enjoying the ride together!

The Education and Libraries CPS continues to collaborate with Arts & Culture CSP of the Hartwell Service League, transforming rusty, dusty newspaper boxes into beautiful Free Little Libraries for our community.

What was once forgotten is now being re-purposed into something meaningful — creating opportunities for literacy, connection, and sharing throughout Hartwell. These gleaming little libraries will soon find new homes at the Clothes Closet and Hart Food Pantry, making books more accessible to neighbors of all ages.

Thank you to everyone involved in this long but rewarding project that proves a little creativity and teamwork can turn something old into something truly special for our community. ❤️

Become a citizen scientist for the day and help document the incredible biodiversity of Northeast Georgia! On June 1, 2026, volunteers of all ages will team up to identify and count birds, plants, insects, reptiles, and other wildlife throughout the Cateechee Golf Course.

The Hartwell Service League Education CSP recently gathered for a special book-to-screen evening! After reading the beloved novel Remarkably Bright Creatures, members came together to enjoy the movie adaptation and share thoughtful conversation, laughter, and fellowship.

The Hartwell Service League’s Education CSP is proud to announce the awarding of three $2,000 scholarships to outstanding students from Hart County High School. These remarkable young ladies were selected based on their academic achievement, leadership, and commitment to community involvement.

Congratulations to Baylee Graham, Marceli Fajardo Bacilio, and Juliette Cason! Your hard work, dedication, and service to others have truly set you apart, and we are so excited to see all that your futures hold.
