Our hearts are heavy this week as we mourn the loss of a faithful supporter and dedicated volunteer: Jan Moore Dwenger.

She was a wonderful woman with a true servant’s heart. To know Jan was to know joy. With a little skip in her step, she sparked light into every room she entered, and was always full of endless smiles and encouragement for us all.

She loved her people and her community deeply and it was an honor to serve alongside her. While we are deeply saddened by our loss here on earth, we rejoice for we know that she is dancing in glory with Christ.

As she loved telling stories of her life and teaching, we would love to hear any stories you have of Jan. Please feel free to leave them in the comments and we will be sure to share them with her family.

The Benefit Dinner is 4 weeks from today! If you pledged an auction item thank you so much! You can bring your donation in during our office hours.

We are still looking for a few more. If you have a talent or gift basket idea or an experience that you think people would enjoy, donate it to be auctioned off.

Here are some ideas:
Date Night Out (restaurant gift cards and wine), Movie Night In (gourmet popcorn and streaming passes), Spa & Wellness (luxury bath items and candles), Family Game Night (board games and treats), or Local Artisan (regional foods and crafts)

Thank you to everyone who showed up and donated to the Hartville Derby food drive.

Donations totaled $144 and 278 pounds of food.

Thank you Lake High School and Lake Center Boys soccer teams for your support in helping our community!

Tomorrow!

The first ever Hartville Derby is less than a month away. We are partnering with to support our community while also having fun playing each other. Admission is free, we're just asking supporters bring any non perishable food donation that we can give to .fish. It's going to be a great night in Lake!

Join us for our 19th Annual Benefit Dinner and Silent Auction on Tuesday, September 8th at The Hartville Kitchen.

$25.00 - Early Bird Ticket - on sale online and in person July 20 - 31, 2026.

$30.00 - Standard Ticket - on sale online and in person beginning August 1, 2026 - If tickets on this site sell out, please contact us as some of our church partners are also selling tickets.

Each year, this evening is a celebration of the work we have done for the past year as well as a sneak peek at future projects.

All funds raised at this event benefit Lake Township FISH and the work we do to support our community members in need.

The Christ Foundation will match the dollars raised at this year's Benefit Dinner & Silent Auction up to $25,000!

We are excited to welcome back The Cleveland Keys dueling pianos as our entertainment for the evening!
