Hello all👋🏻 - Amy Kratzer Founder & CEO of here.

It’s been a little while since we’ve engaged with our community on social media.

18 months ago I felt God calling me away from all things social to spend time in prayer. We’ve been asking God, what does the future look like as we care for survivors and at-risk women and children?

My team and I took a year to pray together. I then felt God calling me into more prayer with my husband and so that’s what we’ve been doing.

During this same time, we’ve continued to support our current ministry partners, being very intentional about staying small and growing slow.

The women and children we have personally walked with these past 8 years have changed my life in deep and meaningful ways. We are a part of their freedom story and they are a part of mine.

Starting a non-profit was hard. Loving and leading others while still in process myself was even harder.
Just when I was ready to surrender it all to God, He whispered, “keep dreaming, casting vision and trusting me, I’m not done yet.”
He’s placed incredible friends-mentors in my life to encourage and challenge me and His loving kindness has revived my heart.

This year, we have the most exciting new opportunities for you to be a part of changing lives - including your own. We will invite you to be a part of local Freedom Dinners and global Freedom hikes. (stay tuned on ways to join in)

Words can’t express our gratitude for your support through the years and for those just finding us - welcome to our tribe!

The work we do here at Girl Set Free would not be possible without our local partners who are on the front lines as well as our community of dedicated individuals supporting the work we do every month. As we walk alongside individuals who are rescued out of trafficking and receive holistic care, we want to say thank you!

Every year on July 30th, the in Persons spreads the alarm about the horrible crime of human trafficking. The day also provides an opportunity for governments to reaffirm their commitment to stop criminals from exploiting people for profit.
