When this began in 2019, it wasn’t intended to turn into anything big. It started with a single invitation, a few foster and adoptive moms gathering around a kitchen table because we all needed community. We needed people who understood the chaos, the beauty, the heartbreak, and the hope that comes with navigating this space.
Month after month, we gathered late into the night, laughing, crying, sharing updates, and swapping resources. And somewhere along the way, we realized that the need for connection stretched far beyond that little table.
What began as a handful of moms grew into a church ministry… then into a small nonprofit, Foster Our Community, and now into a program that continues to expand through Hope Bridge. It became what it is today because families showed up and invited us into their stories.
This community has changed us. Sitting across the table from a foster mom wondering if she could keep going… celebrating adoption days in court… watching families find support, encouragement, and hope. Every single moment has mattered.
Today, we want to share an important update:
Foster Our Community Social Accounts are officially merging with Hope Bridge.
All future updates, resources, events, and stories will now live on the Hope Bridge platforms as our work continues to grow.
