Join us at Sam Kendall's in downtown Hartsville on the first and third Tuesday of the month to experience "Service above Self" as we build goodwill and better friendships in our community! We meet every Tuesday at 12:30 at Pam's Restaurant (1009 Bobo Newsom Hwy) for food, fellowship, and guest speaker presentations. Our chapter is dedicated to supporting both Rotary International's worldwide initi
atives -- to eradicate polio and find a cure for Alzheimer's -- and the needs present in our local community. We accomplish this by hosting dictionary and book giveaways for elementary students, leading ACT/SAT workshops for high schoolers, donating backpacks and coats to kids of all ages, and more! In addition to these projects, we also support our local community through other that include: hosting Christmas parties for local foster children, ringing the Salvation Army bell at Christmastime, and picking up roadside litter through the Adopt-A-Highway Program. Finally, we contribute to the big-picture Rotary goals, which include ending Polio worldwide and bringing clean water to regions with inadequate sanitation facilities.
