We are excited about the open grant cycle and can’t wait to see all of your ideas that will create positive change in our small town with a big heart. The 2026 funding priorities came from listening to our community.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be highlighting each of these focus areas, sharing more about why these areas matter, the challenges and opportunities they address, and examples of the types of projects that may align with our grant priorities.

Don't wait until the deadline to get valuable feedback!

We are providing each organization an opportunity to obtain feedback on one grant application prior to submitting. Our TA provider will review and offer feedback to help strengthen your application before you submit. This is a great opportunity to make sure you are clearly communicating the impact of your project.

We recommend reviewing the NOFO and answering the application questions in a separate document that can easily be attached to an email. You can also submit your work plan and budget information. Email [email protected].

An updated link to the grant portal is in the comments.

Always happy to host Hartsville Young Professionals and Darlington County Progress while learning about economic development efforts in Darlington County. Come back soon!

What happens when community leaders, young professionals, and local businesses come together to talk about the future of Darlington County?
A packed room.

We were excited to see standing room only at our recent Lunch & Learn with Hartsville Young Professionals. The conversation focused on economic growth, workforce development, and the opportunities shaping our community's future.
Thank you to everyone who attended, asked questions, shared ideas, and invested their time in making Darlington County stronger. The engagement and enthusiasm in the room were a reminder that our future is bright when we work together.

We look forward to continuing the conversation and building momentum for the next generation of leaders across our region.
