🎬 Cinema therapy time! Who doesn't love a relaxing Sunday Muttinee. Want to join us?

Cinema therapy allows stressed pups to engage with social pups as visual and auditory stimuli of a movie helps mask shelter noises. Our cozy movie space includes pillows and blankets for lounging, room to explore and play at leisure, and volunteers armed with yummy treats ready to give cuddles as desired. This relaxed setting lowers stress, encourages natural play, and increases the chance of successful adoption.

🎉 Puppy Hercules has moved home into trial adoption. He will mature a bit more at home then return to complete his vetting. Hercules is such a special pup at just 3 months old, as he was found in the road trying to protect 2 little puppies that were a month younger. He was every bit as brave as the name he earned on arrival. Now he gets to inspire his very own family. Enjoy home, Hercules! 😘💕🏠🎂

❤️‍🩹 3 month old Benedict went straight to the vet on 7/16 when found injured in Darlington. X-rays showed two broken legs. An urgent plea for a foster home was answered, allowing Benedict an opportunity to heal. 🙌🏼 He is in foster care with splints, requiring wrap changes and crate rest. He has foster friends that keep him company, and he is the sweetest boy.

This is just the beginning of his second chance, thanks to our Darlington County Humane Society Cats Team of staff, volunteers, fosters, and supporters like you!
