Last night, Clio Rural Fire Department and Marlboro County hosted the P*e Dee Firefighters’ Association’s quarterly meeting. The main agenda item for the meeting was to swear in the incoming officers for their term and to present awards to the recipients.

Incoming officers:
President- Luke Sides
Vice President- Chris Price
Secretary/Treasurer- Tony Lambert

Award recipients:
Carter Jones Award- Robert Pegram
Flanagan Award- Thomas Spivey

Also, John Shoemake was presented with a plaque signifying his term as past president. Chief Shoemake will still serve as a part of our executive committee and aid the group as past president.
