When you look through your phone and see these sweet, empowered, young minds at work, all of a sudden… fall break seems a little too long.

Of course we’re enjoying our break and we hope you all do too! But we can wait to see our students again soon!

Hey y'all, it's Mary Cline! 👋🍂

If you know me, you know my annual pumpkin carving party is one of my favorite traditions. This year I got to thinking… what if we made it bigger? So I'm bringing it to Cypress Adventures, and I'd love for you to be there! 🎃

Pull out your coziest flannel and bring the whole crew to our Fall Festival on Sunday, October 25. We'll have:

🌾 Hay rides
🏺 Paint-your-own pottery
🍴 Delicious food
🎨 Face painting for the kiddos
🍷🍺 B**r & w**e for the grown-ups (21+)

And while we're out there having a blast, we get to do some good too: every ticket helps support the future of Cypress and all the great things we have planned. 🌿

Roots and Rhythm always does something to us.
It reminds us how important and how loving our community is here in Hartsville, and all over our country.

These pictures don’t do it justice, that feeling of kicking back around people that you love, watching people do the things that they love.
Watching our children play, not a device in sight, witnessing art, and creating memories with their friends is worth every cent.

We can’t say thank you enough to our people :

Our people who came, who sponsored, who performed, who set up, who broke down, and who always have our backs and support the heart of our whole mission….

Positive.
Youth.
Development.

We love you all and we love that you guys got a piece of the Cypress Magic.

🚨 THIS IS KIND OF A BIG DEAL, Y’ALL. 🚨

PARSON JAMES IS COMING HOME. ❤️

We are incredibly excited to announce that Cheraw, South Carolina native Parson James is coming back to his home area to share his unbelievable talent with us at Roots & Rhythm Festival at Cypress Adventures! 🎶🔥

And if you don’t know his story… you should.

Parson has gone from singing in church and performing wherever he could get a microphone in South Carolina to becoming an internationally recognized singer, songwriter and performer. He co-wrote and sang on Kygo’s “Stole the Show” — a global, multi-platinum smash that has now surpassed ONE BILLION streams — and has amassed more than 1.2 BILLION streams across his music. 🤯

He’s performed on stages and shows most artists only dream about — The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Late Show with James Corden, The Today Show, Coachella, Lollapalooza, the Hollywood Bowl, Madison Square Garden and more. He’s shared stages with some of the biggest names in music and has built a career that has taken him around the world.

And now…

He’s coming back HOME.

That’s what makes this so incredibly special. We get to experience an artist who has performed on some of the biggest stages in the world right here in our own backyard.

This isn’t just another festival performance. It’s a chance to celebrate an artist with deep South Carolina roots, an extraordinary voice, an incredible story and a whole lot of talent — and we get to say we saw him here, locally, at Roots & Rhythm. ❤️

So if you’ve ever said, “There’s nothing like this around here…”

Well… WE’RE CHANGING THAT. 😉

Come experience it. Bring your people. Bring your dancing shoes. Bring a lawn chair. Bring your love of live music.
