Our state/county park season is coming to a close for the year. October 31st will be the last day the chairs will be able to be reserved with the exception of Caw Caw Interpretive Center that will be starting in November.

Vacation goals achieved! When Debbie planned her recent getaway, Able SC provided a manual wheelchair so she could navigate her trip and shopping with ease. To top it off, we connected her with Waymaker Off-Road Wheelchairs for a specialized beach wheelchair, giving her total independence to enjoy the sand and waves on her own terms!

Here's to the weekend and the freedom Assistive Technology can bring!

🚨We will be unavailable this coming week from 9/14 to 9/20 taking a much needed and anticipated week off as a family to recharge. 🚨

You can still use the online calendars to continue making reservations for the state and county park chairs chairs, but we will not be making any deliveries this week or answering phone calls, messages or emails.

🚨Important Update🚨please share!

With growth, sometimes change has to happen whether we like for it to or not.

Over the last few years we’ve received more and more requests. Many of you found yourself on a waitlist this year, and at times, that waitlist was nearly 10 people deep.

In order to maximize our beach season effectiveness and our limited resources, we’re shrinking down our delivery zone in an effort to help more people. Horry and Georgetown counties alone could easily keep us booked up all season long. Extending further than that right now is using up extra miles, fuel, and man hours that we simply don’t have available right now.

We are considering other options on how to still get chairs further south or north into NC, those options may be restricted to pick up only locations, or extra chairs offered in some of the more local state/county parks. No decisions have been made in that regard and we are open to any and all suggestions or contacts you may have!

Individuals picking up from our location outside of Hartsville, SC are still more than welcome to take our chairs anywhere you please, this notice is simply in regards to where we will have the capacity to offer free delivery, for beach use, going forward.

It’s a hard decision that we don’t enjoy making, especially for many of you who have used our chairs multiple years in some of those southernmost counties. Hopefully we can continue to grow enough to be able to one day have the manpower and resources needed to be able to provide in those areas once again.

As you start to plan next years vacations, just keep this new delivery zone in mind.

We appreciate you all and hope to continue helping as many as we possibly can, to lay tracks and experience all God’s beautiful creation has to offer!
