MOUSERS/WORKING CATS- Barn or shop cats available, already fixed. We will refer you to people who have extra outdoor cats they need to rehome. You need to follow recommendations for a relocating procedure where you keep them contained for a couple weeks. If you want to just turn them free, please don’t get your cats from us. When simply turned out, they almost always run away. Contact us for more info. These cats are normally feral or at least skittish. Photos for attention only these exact cats may not be available.

Our next monthly Low-Cost Vaccine and Microchip Clinic will be at Walmart Supercenter on Saturday, June 20th (located on the left side of the parking lot)! Community members will be able to receive vaccines, microchips, deworming medication, and flea/tick prevention for their dogs and cats!🐶🐱

How it works: Making an appointment is the best way to guarantee your pet will be seen and helps our team keep the clinic running smoothly. But if appointments are full, walk-ups are still welcome! We’ll accept as many as we can based on availability once the event begins.

Vaccines include: Rabies, DAPP, DAPPL, Bordetella, and FVRCP.
• Maximum of 5 pets per household.
• Cash and/or credit payment options only. ⁠
• We ask that all pets please be on a leash or in a carrier.

So thankful to have received a very generous $7000 grant from Community Foundation of Middle TN!!! Funding keeps us going! We offer free spay/neuter for Trousdale Co dogs and cats.

If no one steps in and gets these cats fixed, 6 will be 42 when the next batch of kittens are born and about 138 when they all have kittens. THE SOONER THE BETTER! Please fix your cats now. Call, message, or simply fill out our appointment request form in the comments. Trap will be loaned for ferals. Cats and dogs can be fixed for free, though we do love donations. 615-571-0472

16 animals total in May (a little slower than normal)
YTD total animals 161 of those 67 were feral cats!!
Feral cats would all have reproduced and "Kitten mortality rates are usually very high—often around 75% (Nutter et al., 2004)". We have saved many lives and improved the lives of all! Just got the sweetest note attached to a PayPal donation! "Thank you for the help you gave me last year with my cats Poe and Luna." Like a lot of clients, this person was not able to pay when her cats were fixed. We understand and that's why we are here! Many intend to do what this person did, pay when finances improve. If you too had your pet fixed for free and intended to donate....but didn't, can you do that now? If not, we are happy your pet is fixed, no worries. Welcome to new page followers! Our numbers keep slowly increasing which helps us get the word out. We are here, we fix dogs and cats for free (donations accepted), we love to fix animals before the whoops litters happen, or before your male who, “Always sticks around” runs off because a female is in heat. We help cut down the number of unwanted litters. Can you imagine if we hadn’t fixed over 400 animals/year for the last 10 yrs?? Spay neuter works! Contact us for an appointment. PS photos are for attention but were from Hartsville. Animals have long since been fixed and adopted.
