The Second Annual North Alabama Native Plant Symposium is set for Saturday, May 30, and Sunday, May 31, in Huntsville, Alabama. This weekend-long event will explore how native plants can be thoughtfully integrated into landscapes to create beauty while supporting healthy ecosystems.

Designed for horticultural professionals, conservationists, and home gardeners, the symposium will focus on conservation in horticultural landscapes, drawing inspiration from natural habitats and current land management research. Attendees will hear from two keynote speakers and participate in sessions led by botanists, ecologists, and landscape professionals, all centered on Alabama’s native plants and ecological landscaping.

On Sunday, participants can also choose from nine botanical excursion options to experience native plants in action.
