Lake Country Wine and Food Festival An Event for Charity and Culture, Sponsored by the Lake Country Rotary This year’s event will feature tasting organized by the particular varietal (of grape).

You will be able to compare Merlots from several vintners around the world at one wine tasting station. Other stations will feature Cabernet Sauvignons, Chardonnays, Sauvignon Blancs, and Pinot Noirs. Even though the wines are produced from the same grape, you will be able to learn the difference the growing regions, including the climates and soil conditions, as well as the wine making process h

ave on the wine. Another Feature this year will be a blind taste testing contest. Participants will try to identify the varietal when tasted from a unlabeled bottle. Prizes will be awarded to the winners! Enjoy tasting foods prepared by Lake Country’s finest restaurants and enjoy sampling an abundance of cheeses, fresh breads and oil oils.
