Cub Scouting is a year-round program uniquely designed to meet the needs of young boys and girls (kindergarten through fifth grade) and their families. The program offers fun and challenging activities that promote character development and physical fitness. A research study by Tufts University showed that more time spent in Scouting results in better character development. The best way to find out what you do best is to do it. Set up a tent. Build a Pinewood Derby® car. Shoot a bow and arrow. Cub Scouting offers boys and girls the opportunity to see and learn fun, new things that can’t be found anywhere else. Cub Scouts are at that magical age where everything is new and possible and, most important, fun. They build things. Play with purpose. Make friends and work together. The life lessons learned here not only transform today’s Cub Scouts into tomorrow’s Scouts BSA members but also help form a foundation to embrace opportunity and overcome obstacles in life.

Nice little late fall hike for pack 235! We met a few little critters along the way. A little garter snake and a few wolly's.

Pack 235 Rain Gutter Regatta was one for the books! These scouts wanted to not only race in the inflatable rain gutter but also down the river!

They displayed great teamwork building boats and setting up today!

Paracord bracelet making and knot tying was the name of the game today these scouts are pretty amazing! If you any kids in the Windsor, Hartland, or Ascutney area let us know we are looking to grow our pack.

Hartland Pack 235 was busy at work today finishing up their summer service project at the Hartland Rec Center! We still have some finishing touches but progress has been made!

Join Pack 235 for our annual model rocket launch at the Hartland Recreation center in Hartland, VT from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Watch our scouts launch the rockets they built or launch one yourself we will have a few test rockets you can launch.

Our annual rocket launch is how we kick off our engineering month at Pack 235 in Hartland. We have scouts from Quechee, White River, Hartland, and Windsor! Come join us to Adventure on you can find us at beascout.org - Pack 0235 American Legion Post 48.
