A NEW HOPE FOR HARTFORD’S 3RD DISTRICT

Hartford’s 3rd District is one of the poorest districts in our city. Our neighborhoods, from Frog Hollow to Parkville and every street in between, have carried struggle for generations. Families work hard, yet too many still face poverty, rising costs, and systems that have not delivered real change.

The People’s Third stands with every resident who has lived these challenges. We believe our district deserves better. We believe our families deserve opportunity. We believe our youth deserve hope. We believe our seniors deserve dignity. This is a community rich in culture, strength, heart, and resilience, yet year after year our needs have been overlooked.

The People’s Third is committed to lifting our neighborhoods, empowering our residents, and fighting for real solutions that improve daily life. We are here to build unity. We are here to bring light into places that have been left in the shadows. We are here to remind every neighbor that you matter, your voice matters, and your future matters.

The movement is growing, and it belongs to the people. Together we will rise. Together we will bring opportunity back to Hartford’s 3rd District. Together we will write a new chapter for our community, one rooted in justice, compassion, and hope.

THE COST OF LIVING IN HARTFORD

The truth is that too many families in our community are barely holding on. Rents continue to rise, groceries cost more every week, utilities go up, and working people are being asked to survive on less while everything around them becomes more expensive. This is not just an economic issue. This is a quality of life issue for the people of the Third District.

No family should have to choose between rent and food. No parent should have to work two or three jobs and still fall behind. No elder should have to stretch medication or skip meals just to make it to the end of the month. Our community deserves better than this.

The People’s Third stands for unity and compassion. We stand for leaders who listen and take action. We stand for a community where no one is forgotten and no one is left behind. The cost of living should not be a battle you fight alone. Together we can push for solutions that ease the burden on working families. Together we can build a district where people can live with dignity, stability, and hope.

The cost of living is not just a number. It is about our families, our children, our elders, and the future of our community. We rise together and we move forward together.
