The Connecticut Association of REALTORS® Foundation The Foundation was established at the request of the membership. The Raymond F. Gates, Jr. REALTORS Care."

Members wanted a 501(c)3 charity to accept tax-deductible contributions and respond quickly in times of need. The Foundation formalizes the charitable efforts of the Association, but it is not CTR. The Connecticut REALTORS Foundation was established in February 2009 as a separate entity independent of CTR with a separate Board of Trustees. Memorial Scholarship Fund is part of the Foundation. The fund and all donations to the fund are used exclusively to award scholarships to the children of Connecticut REALTORS members. More than ONE MILLION DOLLARS in scholarships have been awarded since 1976. In recent years, the Foundation has expanded its natural disaster and scholarship efforts to include programs addressing hunger, homelessness, child and animal welfare throughout Connecticut. From diaper and mattress drives to an award-winning opioid awareness campaign and an annual campaign aimed at ending family homelessness in Connecticut - with the continued generosity of our members/donors, we hope to live up to our mission: "To be good neighbors to our members, our communities and the world.

Thank you to all who donated! ❤️
The 11th annual Dog Days of Summer raised $4475, which is the campaign’s second highest yearly total.
This year's campaign benefited Project Precious Rescue, Inc., a foster-based rescue in Fairfield County, and Veterinary Care Everywhere, which provides free or low-cost veterinary services across Connecticut, focusing primarily on assisting veterans, the disabled and seniors.

With just 3 days left in our “Dog Days of Summer” fundraiser, get to know our second benefiting animal welfare organization: Veterinary Care Everywhere (VCE). VCE is a mobile veterinary care service that makes low to no-cost vet services easily accessible primarily to veterans, seniors and the disabled. They partner with senior centers and other locations across the state to provide Wellness Clinics that ensure beloved pets receive the basic care they need. This critical service helps keep pets in their homes and reduces the growing number of owner surrender and neglect cases. We are just $550 short of our goal, so any donation is appreciated as we wrap up our 11th annual campaign! Deadline to donate is this Monday, September 7. www.ctrealtors-care.org/dogdays

With just 5 days left to our "Dog Days of Summer" fundraiser, we wanted to briefly highlight the two benefiting animal welfare organizations for this year's campaign. First up: Project Precious Rescue, Inc. - a small but mighty foster-based rescue in Fairfield County. PPR believes every animal deserves a second chance. Earlier this year and without hesitation, they took in 4 of the nearly 1,500 beagles that were rescued from Ridglan Farms, a long-standing breeder of dogs used for biomedical research, knowing their medical and/or behavioral needs before finding them their furever homes could prove very costly. Our 11th annual "Dog Days of Summer" campaign officially kicked off with a bang at Tuesday's CTR BOD meeting! Directors generously donated requested items for our two benefitting animal welfare organizations: Project Precious Rescue and Veterinary Care Everywhere, along with $1,130 in monetary donations. Thanks to CTR Directors for their continued support of all of our Foundation programs...now we need YOUR support!
