CT in World War 1

CT in World War 1 We hope to create a national model for local events, digitization and preservation efforts and are excited to work with partners who may be interested.

Connecticut State Library has taken the reins of Connecticut’s WWI Centennial Commemoration as an extension of the role that the library played during and after the war. Connecticut State Library is piloting a public history project together with Historypin, University of Connecticut and the Connecticut Digital Archive to digitize and share WWI collections gathered from Connecticut's cultural heritage organizations as well as the community for research and the common good.
